Meet Dr. Kayla Hanna

Dr. Hanna was raised in rural Kansas before moving to Missouri to pursue her undergraduate education. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Central Missouri, graduating Summa Cum Laude and broadened her education through a semester abroad studying business in Athens, Greece, and Groningen, Netherlands.
She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Dentistry. During dental school, Dr. Hanna was recognized for her academic excellence, graduating Magna Cum Laude and earning induction into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.

Advanced Training
After dental school, Dr. Hanna completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency through Wichita State University. This intensive program provided advanced clinical training in dental implants, endodontics, periodontics, and oral surgery, allowing her to deliver comprehensive, high-quality care using modern techniques.
After completing her residency, Dr. Hanna practiced as an associate dentist in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, before returning home to Greenwood, Missouri. She has spent the past six years serving patients in Olathe, Kansas, and is excited to continue providing compassionate, high-quality dental care close to home.

Professional Memberships & Community Service
Dr. Hanna is committed to staying at the forefront of dentistry through active membership in the American Dental Association, the Missouri Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She is passionate about giving back and has participated in volunteer dental outreach in Cuzco, Peru, providing care to underserved communities. She also continues to support charitable initiatives such as Missouri Mission of Mercy, Kansas Mission of Mercy, TeamSmile, and other local community service events.

Outside the Office
When she's not caring for patients, Dr. Hanna enjoys staying active through rock climbing, hiking, and running. She also loves spending time at the lake, traveling, and making memories with her husband, their three children—Aubrey, Barrett, and Briggs—and their two Goldendoodles.
